In Romanèche-Thorins, the Hameau Duboeuf awaits you. Spanning 30,000 m² across four sites, this theme park reveals the secrets of the Beaujolais vineyards. A visit that is both fascinating and fun, sure to delight parents as well as their children. Indeed, here, everything is designed with the little ones in mind. They’ll love, among other things, the interactive cinema and its animated pods that take you on a journey with two
bees as they flit between the Mâconnais and Beaujolais regions. Whilst the adults admire the 3,000 collectable items that recount some 2,000 years of wine-growing history, the children will set off on a treasure hunt equipped with a touchscreen tablet.

In addition to the Hameau du Vin, dedicated to vines and viticulture, the Hameau Duboeuf comprises three other areas. The Gare du Vin explores the role played by rail transport in bringing Beaujolais to Paris. With its wine cellar
and 150 stainless steel vats, the Vinification Centre immerses you in the heart of wine production and reveals the secrets of winemaking. Finally, the Jardin en Beaujolais invites you to breathe in the scents of flowers, bark, fruit and spices that contribute to the wine’s rich aromas. It is a pleasant place to stroll, where children can also
play mini-golf featuring the 10 Beaujolais crus or take a ride on a rosalie.
A restaurant and a shop
With its many attractions, a visit to Hameau Duboeuf can easily take a whole day. For lunch, the park has two dining areas—one indoors and one on the terrace—which are open from 10am to 6pm. This is the perfect opportunity to sample some of the estate’s wines. Wines that you can buy at the Hameau Duboeuf shop. On its shelves, you’ll also find accessories and books related to the world of wine, as well as a delicatessen.
